We have had the privilege to see firsthand the benefits that children receive through having a sponsor. Children who have lost one or both parents or have parents with severe disabilities or mental illness and have no means to pay the fees to attend school, purchase a school uniform or buy school supplies are given a chance to learn. The relationships that are built between children and their sponsors through letters of encouragement, special gifts and even visits are life changing.
